Google gives M for AI training to local nonprofits

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin nonprofits are getting a boost to help develop artificial intelligence skills.

On Wednesday, Google.org – the company’s philanthropy sector – announced it’s donating $1 million to the Austin Community Foundation.

That money will be used to help give AI training to local nonprofits.

The effort is part of Google’s AI Opportunity Fund, which aims to equip 1 million Americans with AI skills. The program will offer in-person workshops, webinars, coaching and peer learning opportunities. Watch the Video Here…
